I happened
upon this bird one morning in the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. The
light was perfect, the water was perfect, and the bird ...
well, how could I possibly improve on what nature so generously
gave me on that morning. The snowy egret is one of my favorite
birds to paint. I love their delicate look, their white plumage,
and those beautiful yellow feet. Since I felt that I had received
such a wonderful gift on this morning, I felt I should share
my good fortune with this piece. |
